Support Workers Colchester (Advanced CPI Essential)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential care and support to individuals with complex needs, mental health conditions, and learning disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and social interaction.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals, applying Advanced CPI techniques to manage challenging behaviours.
• Support individuals in maintaining independence and dignity in their daily lives.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and follow care plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Essential Requirements:

• Advanced CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training only candidates with this certification will be considered.
• Previous experience working as a Support Worker in a healthcare or care setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
