Our Residential Support Worker is a great opportunity for those experienced working in a care setting and looking to implement those skills with an aim to progress to the next stage of their career with our help. You'll manage risk in a way which empowers young people and builds resilience, whilst at the same time ensuring their safety. You'll demonstrate a high standard of person-centred practice, have good social care values and be a strong role model to our children and young people.

Regular supervision with your line manager, team meetings etc. will ensure you feel part of our team.

About the service
Intensive Supervised Structured Care work with vulnerable and high-risk young people aged 13 to 20 with significant social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Our aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment which enables our young people to understand their behaviour, make positive choices and thrive. We support them to develop confidence, self-esteem, and life skills, engage in education/training/employment and to feel included in the wider community; we want our young people to feel loved and cared for.
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll work as part of a fantastic team to deliver high quality, person centred residential care under the GIRFEC framework. You'll manage risk in a way which empowers young people and builds resilience, whilst at the same time ensuring their safety. You'll demonstrate a high standard of person-centred practice, have good social care values and be a strong role model to the young people.
