Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on qualification and experience)

Contract/Hours: Permanent/Full Time (37 hours per week)

A bit about the role
We’re looking for a dedicated Residential Support Worker for waking nights to join our team at a brand-new residential home in Telford. In this role you’ll provide essential support to children with physical and mental disability throughout the night, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Responsibilities include assisting with any night-time needs including personal care, preparing paperwork for the next shift team, ironing uniforms and completing house chores. A residential support workers will work within a team that provides person centred care and tailored support to each child meeting their individual needs in accordance with care plan you will also ensure that policies in the central standards or quality and safety or achieved.
About the service
Acorn Way is an exciting new residential care home providing accommodation and support for children and young people between the age of 5-18 years of both physical and learning disabilities.
The new home will provide warm caring uncomfortable environment where our young people will feel safe and free to gain a sense of their own self. Supported in developing skills and achieve maximum quality of life.
