Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Wolverhampton – WV7

Salary: £32,300 - £36,140  per year

Service: Residential Care for Young People

Service Users: Young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (or willingness to study towards)

Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience in a similar role is preferred


About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join the team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs in our residential homes.

 


The role will suit: someone who is physically active, willing and able to do activities like hiking, cycling, and playground activities. As well as someone who carrying, understands the role of a ‘good’ parent / carer


 


Responsibilities:



  • Provide day-to-day care and support to young people in residential homes.

  • Ensure smooth operations of the home, including helping with homework, planning activities, and completing paperwork.

  • Create a positive and nurturing environment for young people to thrive.
