About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Female Support Workers to join our team, working in a dynamic and supportive hospital environment in Beckton. As an Agency Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care, fostering independence, and promoting well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support tailored to the needs of individuals.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and effective care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals.
- Support individuals in managing challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
Essential Criteria:

Mandatory Training: Up-to-date training certificates aligned with healthcare standards.

PMVA Training: Current certification in Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA).

Oliver McGowan Training: Evidence of completion of training in learning disability and autism awareness.

Immunisations/Vaccinations: Proof of immunisations, including but not limited to Varicella, MMR, and Tuberculosis, as requested.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital or care setting.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and shift patterns.

- Experience working with individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, or complex care requirements.
