Healthcare Assistant | Wards | Private Hospital | Slough | Staffing Bank, Flexible working 

Spire Thames Valley are seeking an experienced HCA to work on the ward and join the staffing bank for flexible shifts.

At Spire Thames Valley Hospital, we provide comprehensive diagnostic services and treatments in a comfortable and relaxed private hospital environment. You can get fast access to consultants who are experts in their field and can provide you with personalised treatments, all in a safe environment.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assisting the ward team in the provision of exemplary patient care
  • Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
  • Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
  • Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies

Who we're looking for

  • Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations

Working Hours: Variation of shifts including nights, long days, earlies & lates

Contract Type: Bank - 0 hours contract
