Role: Weekend Care Assistant (Harlow)

We’re seeking caring and dedicated Weekend Care Assistants to support elderly clients in Harlow. You’ll help provide personal care, companionship, and household support, ensuring our clients enjoy their weekends with dignity and comfort in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship, engage in meaningful conversations, and offer emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and help with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe living environment
• Offer medication reminders and assist with daily routines

Working Hours:

• Flexible weekend shifts, with enhanced pay for weekend and bank holiday work
• Opportunity for additional hours based on availability

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a care setting is a plus, but not required (full training provided)
• A warm, friendly attitude with a passion for helping others
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with clients and families
• Reliable, organised, and flexible, with weekend availability
• Must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
