We have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our established support teams in the Droitwich area.

Complexus Care delivers bespoke, person-centred, support and care, through empowerment of our clients and our clinical expertise, with an embedded holistic approach. Our clients have a variety of complex care needs, our support teams enable them to live independently, and access all aspects of the community.

About The Role

We are recruiting for Full time FEMALE Support Workers to work with a lady who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Scoliosis. This lady has complex care needs and requires support including Enteral feeding (PEG), and respiratory support (BiPap, cough assist and nebulisers) as well as companionship and support in other day to day activities, whilst experience in these areas is an advantage, training can be given.

A Full UK Driving Licence is essential in this role, as this lady has an active and varied calendar, attending events and appointments and you will be required to drive her vehicle.

The shift times are as follows:

You will work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts and waking night shifts.

  • Day shift: 9.00am - 9.00pm
  • Waking Night shift: 9.00pm – 9.00am for occasional cover only

Non-smokers are preferred as this is a completely Non-Smoking household.

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check will be required.

Rates of Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour upon successful completion of competencies and training.

You will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and trustworthy. You will work well as part of a team, but also be able to use your own initiative. You will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. You must be respectful and ensure you allow her to have her own personal space. You will be supporting this lady to maintain her independence and you will be observant, sensitive, and considerate. Previous experience and the ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial.
