Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:









Are you a positive and motivated person who is interested in supporting vulnerable adults to live the best lives possible? Are you looking to gain great experience in a satisfying job where you feel supported? If this sounds like you, maybe a Support Worker role with an award-winning charity is the change you’ve been looking for! At our service in Huntly, we support individuals with a wide range of needs to live as independently as possible in their own flats. The individuals you'll be supporting range in age from 17 to 70 and enjoy lots of great activities, so we're looking for people to join the team who are interested in trying new things and supporting people to achieve their own personal goals. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support people with their work, walking, going to the bowling, enjoying a lunch (with a coffee or a cheeky beer) and anything else they enjoy. The people we support have a large shared garden with lots of flower pots and get help to keep it looking nice. Our staff team are very supportive and experienced and also provide some support with: • Medication administration • Cooking and home maintenance • Social support and support to achieve personal goals • Managing the finances of the people we support Our team provide support 7 days a week, so we ask for flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday-Sunday and this will include some sleepover shifts. Our shift patterns can vary, but some examples of typical shifts are listed below: -10am - 10am the next day (includes sleepover) - 12 noon - 7pm - 8/9/10am - 10pm, We are currently recruiting for full-time, role and holding a driving license would be beneficial but not essential.
