Part-time
Apply online
Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire, United Kingdom

This
vacancy is for a female care personal assistant to join our client’s support
package to support them in their own home for 12 hours per week. We will be your legal
employer on behalf of the client and you will not be asked to
support other clients.  All of our contracts are for permanent
positions with a 6 month probationary period.
We are looking to recruit a part-time female personal care assistant to a young man with special needs, autism and limited mobility.  You will be required to work on a Monday and Friday, 6hrs each day.  You should also be flexible to cover additional shifts when needed.

About the Client and Support Needed:
Our client lives at home with his family in the Driffield area and you will be required to support him at home in the rural setting where he lives.

He enjoys cooking, baking, crafts, drawing, board games, pool, riding out on his scooter, photography, animals, wildlife, shopping and collecting Marvel and DC memorabilia.

He does require some personal care but there is no moving and handling involved.

Our client requires support with meal making, loading and unloading his scooter into the van.

You will help with cleaning and tidying all of our client's living spaces and bed changes and make sure his areas are sanitised as he has brittle asthma.

When out and about, you will make sure he is safe and well supported constantly, as autism can make him feel vulnerable. You will make his life fun and interesting by creating things to do within his ability range.
