KV Care is a small but lovingly crafted environment that provides children and adults with a variety of home-care packages and services. We provide critical support and care to the community's most vulnerable members, and we take pride in offering a person-centered service that emphasises developing independence in the comfort of one's own home. Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Conditions, and other issues are common among service users.

Assisted Living Support Workers are needed to join our team. This thrilling position entails assisting vulnerable adults in their homes throughout the Bury area. The Support Worker will manage and assist the client in running their own house on a daily basis (shopping, cooking, budgeting, socialising etc).

A small team of support workers in this profession works directly with an individual to help them attain and maintain independence, as well as support them in living their lives as they see fit. This position does not necessitate the use of a driver.



  • Helping customers maintain their home environment.
  • Assisting customers with daily living tasks such as cleaning, cooking, clothes washing, changing beds, and gardening
  • Emotional and well-being support and guidance
  • Personal care
  • Assisting with showering and bathing
  • Moving and positioning (where required)
  • Administering medication
  • Continence care
  • Nutrition and Hydration needs
  • Social support and signposting to social activities and groups to help with wellbeing and isolation.
  • Assisting with medical and behavioural needs.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of community care experience; supporting adults with learning disability and autism.

KV Care will undertake an enhanced DBS check for all successful applicants and will provide full training bespoke to KV Care and customer need.

Hours of work - The shifts involved in this role vary but will involve a 24hour shift (for example 09.30am - 09.30am).

Pay - £10.90 - £12.00 per hour + sleep rate
