  • £26,421 per annum (pro rata if part time)
  • Permanent
  • Posts 1 and 2: 37 hours per week, Sudbury
  • Post 3: 37 hours per week, Bury St Edmunds
  • Post 4: 30 hours per week, Bury St Edmunds

Your role and responsibilities

  • support the Home First Service within a locality. Completing care visits as required and to assist with Short Term Reablement Plans (STEP), to contribute to assessment and reablement
  • mentor and direct new staff across the team to support their work and help them develop in their role
  • liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to support the customers within your team
  • work alongside team colleagues, support the Home First team Leader for your area and pick up tasks as directed such as medication observations and issues, training basic skills to new staff

 

You will need

  • a passion for working as a team
  • good verbal and written communication skills, in order to support team colleagues to effect high quality outcomes for customers
  • previous experience in front line roles within the care sector
  • the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • knowledge of first aid and manual handling skills.
