About the Provider
At the provider, commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children is paramount. The primary aim is to create a warm, nurturing environment that supports safety, growth, and development. Caregiving is influenced by the PACE model underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, embracing an attachment and trauma-informed approach. Staff members are trained accordingly, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of children's behaviours and effective engagement from assessment to intervention. The commissioned therapeutic partnership with Enabling Hope further supports the development of children and staff teams through direct works and consultations.
Purpose: The Residential Childcare Worker (RCW) is responsible for ensuring that the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychological, and social needs of children are met consistently to a high standard. The RCW complies fully with all statutory and regulatory guidance in conjunction with the provider's policies, procedures, and practices. Working on a shift pattern, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, sleeping-in duties, and subject to risk assessment – lone working.
Accountability: Residential Childcare Workers are directly accountable to the Deputy and Registered Manager.
