Shifts Available:

• Morning Shift: 8am to 2pm
• Evening Shift: 4pm to 10pm
• Weekends Only: Morning, evening, or both

Requirement: When working during the week, you will be required to work at least (4) consecutive days, including alternating weekends.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

In this rewarding role, you’ll provide compassionate support to our elderly clients during both their morning and evening routines, ensuring they feel comfortable, cared for, and supported throughout their day.

You’ll be assisting with:

Morning routines: Helping clients start their day with confidence, offering support with personal care, preparing breakfast, and organising their day ahead.

Evening routines: Ensuring clients settle in comfortably, assisting with light housekeeping, preparing meals, prompting bedtime medication, supporting with personal care such as washing or changing, and helping them get ready for a peaceful night.

Beyond the essentials, your role might include:

• Running errands or doing quick grocery trips.
• Providing sensitive dementia care with patience and empathy.
• Offering vital emotional support and companionship.
• Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings to help them stay active and engaged.

As a care support worker, you’ll be at the heart of someone’s life, making each day feel brighter and more manageable. Whether it’s starting their day on the right foot or ensuring a relaxing end to it, you’ll make a meaningful difference in a client’s life every single day.

What You Can Look Forward To:

• Flexibility and Work-Life Balance: You’ll only be working on Saturdays and Sundays, giving you a great work-life balance.
• Competitive Hourly Rate: £12.00 per hour for weekday shifts, £12.25 per hour for weekend shifts.
• Double Time Paid on Bank Holidays: Enjoy generous double-time payments on bank holidays, so you can celebrate while earning more.
• Paid Travel Time and Mileage: Your travel time between clients will be paid at £11.44 per hour, plus an additional 35p per mile to cover petrol costs.

• Comprehensive Training Programme: We offer a mix of both in-person and cloud-based training courses to equip you with the skills you need to excel in your role. Bonus, all trainings will be paid £11.44 per hour.

Qualifications

Essential Criteria:

• Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car, with business insurance.
• Experience in care isn’t necessary; we’ll provide full training and support to help you get started.
