Nursery Room Leader – Level 3

Salary: Up to £31,000

40 hours per week

We are looking a Nursery Room Leader to provide high-quality care and education for children in our client's nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 in Early Years (or above)


• Proven experience in a childcare setting, with some experience in a leadership or supervisory role.


• Knowledge of child development and early years curriculum.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nursery staff in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.


• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that promote children's development and learning.


• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.


• Ensure that the nursery meets and exceeds all statutory requirements and follows best practice guidelines.


• Support the professional development of nursery staff through mentorship and training.
