Here at Home Instead we have a unique opportunity for you to support a lively 40+ gentleman living in his own home in Gnosall, Staffordshire area.

Due to the client’s rural location you must be a driver with your own car.

About the Client:

Our client is a true character with a love for life! He loves music, games, TV and all things football!

A West Bromwich Albion support, who regularly attends their matches. 

His care team provide vital companionship and social time in and out of the home, including playing games, getting out in the garden, attending headways day centre and going to the football!

Your Role:

As part of a dedicated team, you’ll provide essential support with personal care and transfers using a hoist, throughout the day. Along with proving personal care support, you will also provide vital companionship, social time and complete home help tasks. 

Our client requires a high number of care hours from his team to support him with everyday activities, ensuing he is safe and well. These hours vary from 7am-10pm across all days. 

Communication is key, as our client is non-verbal and you’ll actively encourage our client to use his communication pad, helping him develop his speech.

What We’re Looking For:

• Caring and compassionate individuals with a genuine passion for helping others.
• Must be a driver due to the rural location.
• Experience with hoisting and providing personal care is a plus but not essential.
• A love for music, football, and a good soap opera would be a bonus!
