Position: Hear Care Assistant/Microsuction Assistant
Location: London
Employment Type: Full-Time (45 hours per week)
Working Days: Monday to Friday, with one weekend day a month
Working Hours: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, 1-hour break and 1-hour travel, then 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Responsibilities include traveling between clinics during the 1-hour travel period

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum + Commission Rates
Visa Sponsorship: Not available (Applicants must have existing work authorisation for the UK)

Role Overview


The Hear Care Assistant/Microsuction Assistant will be responsible for providing microsuction ear wax removal to our patients, engaging in patient interactions, conducting screening tests, and supporting the overall clinic administration. The role requires flexibility to travel between our various London clinics and a commitment to delivering top-tier patient care.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform microsuction ear wax removal procedures.
  • Conduct initial patient assessments and screening tests.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage clinic administration duties.
  • Ensure the clinic is well-stocked and organised.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient care.
  • Support the overall running of hearing care services.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to maintain high standards of care.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a clinical or medical setting.
  • Training in microsuction/earwax removal will be provided.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to travel between multiple clinic locations in London.
  • Valid driving licence is useful but not essential.

  • Proven experience in a clinical or medical role.

Desirable:


  • Experience in phlebotomy or similar procedures.
  • Previous experience in audiology or ear care.
