Our Acute Medical Unit is undergoing an exciting period of change and we are on the search for Band 2 Support workers with an interest in working in acute medicine, helping to deliver exceptional patient-centred care, within a fast paced environment in which priorities change quickly.

Early 07:30 - 15:30
Late 12:00 - 20:00
Long 07:30 - 20:00
Nights 19:30 - 08:00
NHS Salary Band: Band 2
Salary: £23,615 per annum
Work Location: Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham
Hours per week: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (will consider part time, minimum 22.5)
Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals in the Acute Medical Unit, you will be assisting the team with the provision of clinical care for a defined group of patients. You are likely to be asked to support with patients who may require 1 to 1 help and there may be patients who present challenging behaviours.
Typical day-to day duties include:
