Treloar’s is a charity which runs one of the UK’s largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.

We are looking for enthusiastic and competent Health Care Assistants to join our busy clinical team at Treloar’s. This is a varied and busy role, where you will work closely with nurses to monitor student health needs, help train care staff in clinical skills and support students with tracheostomies, one to one in class. You, in turn, will be supported and supervised by a registered nurse, and have a bespoke training package. We are a supportive team, with immense job satisfaction from supporting our students to access education. We are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and CQC.

Candidates must hold a relevant level 3 qualification, have recent care experience and proven competence in a range of clinical skills (e.g., supporting people with medicines, suction, seizures and/or gastrostomy feeds).

This role is term time (with flexibility for up to 2 weeks in the holidays which can be taken back in term time). Shifts are routinely Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:00, with the occasional 12:30 to 21:30.
