Join Home Instead as an Evening Care Assistant to make our clients' evenings better. In this role, you'll not only engage in activities they love, such as a friendly chat or watching a TV show, but you'll also help with important personal care tasks.

This includes helping them get ready for bed, making sure they can wash themselves safely, and generally looking out for their well-being. All of this will be done while treating them with the highest level of dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

Comfort & Companionship: Engage with clients through pleasant conversations, helping them wind down beautifully at the end of the day.

Personal Care: Assist clients in their evening routines, including preparing light meals, helping with personal care, and ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease.

Household Assistance: Help maintain a safe and tranquil home atmosphere, aiding in tidying up and preparing the home for the night.

Engaging Activities: Plan and facilitate enriching evening activities, such as watching a film together, listening to music, or enjoying other activities as they wind down.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are needed — we value a warm heart and a ready smile above all. A driving licence and ability to use your own vehicle to transport clients and provide home visits is essential.

Qualifications

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We offer Award Winning training which is comprised of a mixture of e-learning from home and in-house workshops. Leading to a nationally recognised Certificate of Care once completed. We would love to hear from you if you are:
