25% Night Rate increment, 33% increment at weekends, 50% increment for Bank Hols

Contract – 23.33 Hours Available (Weekly Average) – Shift Pattern 2 Nights on, 4 Nights off.

We are currently recruiting to our Supported Living Service… 

Caring and reliable Community Support Worker's to work within the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Domiciliary Service in Adult Social Care at Lancashire County Council

We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support, to come and join our team. Our Supported Living Service requires multiple Community Support Workers to join us in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service.

You will be welcomed into people's homes and provide care and support during the night. It is not essential that you have a background in Health and Social Care, you just need to have a good heart and a caring nature. We provide all the required training to ensure you get the most from your role, with qualifications on offer it's a great opportunity to progress in this service and turn it into a career to be proud of!

Passion – we want to recruit people with a passion to make a difference to the people we supports' lives, providing much needed support like it's second nature – your commitment to the people we support will be life changing in the work you do, bringing comfort with a warm smile and a cup of tea – you will become indispensable supporting people with personal care, household chores, finances, medication and anything else they require in their day to day life – you will support people into the community to participate in activities, keeping their spirits high, maybe a shopping trip or outdoor activities, whatever it takes to bring them smiles and happiness – you will be changing outlooks and breaking down those barriers that they face on a daily basis.

Empathy & Resilience – you will have an understanding of the challenges the people we support deal with which means an empathic nature is of upmost importance – you will need bags of motivation and be able to keep going even on the more difficult days – the needs of our service users can be complex and you may face challenging behaviour but your determination and dedication to excellent care will make it feel easy – it is essential that you are able to communicate clearly and effectively with every individual providing reassurance and positivity.
