Joining our team at Home Instead Fareham & Gosport allows you the flexibility to choose your availability, whether you need to work your role around school hours or need to pop home for the dogs, we can work with you to build a schedule that ensures you have the right work home life balance! 

We currently have Full Time & Part-Time opportunities available for morning care assistants in Fareham and Gosport, starting at 8am. With access to our comprehensive training program and ongoing development we set you up with the skills you need to succeed, therefore no prior experience is required to join our team.

Being a Care Assistant with Home Instead Fareham & Gosport means you are able to provide quality care whilst promoting independence giving our clients the assistance they need to remain happy and healthy at home. Your role responsibilities will include:

  • Building meaningful connections with our clients, offering companionship and care during morning visits.

  • Create a welcoming home atmosphere by assisting with light household tasks and meal preparations.

  • Help clients relax and prepare for the day ahead.

  • Engage in enjoyable activities like reading, games or even accessing the community.

  • Maintain open and regular communication with clients and their families to provide top-tier care and peace of mind.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required; thorough in-house induction assessment and ongoing training will be provided.

  • Strong written and spoken English skills.

  • Availability of reliable transportation for home visits, outings, grocery shopping, and errands.

  • Exceptional organisational skills and time management abilities.

  • Inherent caring and friendly nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families.

  • Must be a UK resident with a full UK driving license and your own transportation.

  • Must be 18+
