We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Children’s Support Worker to join our team and provide vital support to children and young people in need. As a Children’s Support Worker, you will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to promote the well-being, safety, and development of children who may be experiencing challenges such as behavioral, emotional, or physical difficulties. You will play a key role in helping children achieve their personal goals, build confidence, and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with complex needs or challenging behaviors (preferred).
A genuine passion for supporting and improving the lives of children and young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
Ability to remain calm, patient, and understanding in challenging situations.
Knowledge of child development, safeguarding procedures, and child protection policies.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to support children’s needs.
Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts (if applicable).
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
A full driving license is required, depending on the role
