*Job Overview*
We are currently seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team to cover weekday and weekend work from 7am to 11pm, providing essential care services to individuals in their own homes throughout Stockport and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of our customers.
*Duties*
- Assist customers with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided
- Communicate effectively with customers, families, managers and healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to customers
- Using an App based system for record-keeping and communication purposes
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
- Ability to drive with use of own transport is essential
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
