  • Excellent rates of pay, £12 - £13.20 per hour, with guaranteed hours contracts to fit around your lifestyle

Job Description

What the job involves: 

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit 
  • Help with everyday tasks from cooking a meal to light housework 
  • Helping your client access their community by accompanying them to the shops or appointments 
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent 

 

Qualifications

You will not require any experience of working in the care setting or interacting with older people, but it would be desirable if you do. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.  

You will need to have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will need to be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will need to enjoy building professional friendships and are comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
