As a Home Instead Care Assistant in the Hexham and Tyne Valley area, you will deliver a high standard of care to our clients within their own homes. Duties will be person centred and reactive to the needs and requests of the client. General tasks will include offering dignified personal care, assistance with meal preparation and medication, help with mobility issues and domestic tasks, and companionship and emotional support.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing companionship, personal care and assisting clients in their own homes.
  • Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the client’s condition and any changes in their health.
  • Promoting independence and ensuring the clients safety and well-being.
  • Providing fun daily activities to clients throughout the day.

We cover: Hexham, Corbridge, Riding Mill, Newton, Stocksfield, Prudhoe, Ovingham, Crawcrook, Ryton, Heddon on the wall and Whickham, and surrounding villages.

Additional Information

This role is subject to DBS enhanced disclosure, and satisfactory references. Full UK Driving License, access to own vehicle, if you do not have a vehicle, you need to have access to reliable transport. MUST have the Right to Work in the UK.
