Job Description

The role of a Care Assistant is to achieve the highest quality of life for the older members of our community. This means providing basic care but also encouraging activities to keep people active, engaged, and confident.

On top of this you will be required to carry out additional On-Call duties on rotation with the key players in the office. You will need to have good availability and be able to travel to surrounding areas. 

As Care Assistants we receive:  

  • Competitive rates of pay up to £13 per hour.

We are looking for someone with good availability throughout that is looking for around 30 hours a week.

You are required to work every other weekend.  

We require additional On-Call duties to be carried out with this position, on rotation with the office team. 

Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting older people a minimum of 1 year required.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care required. 
  • You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on finding creative ways to improve a person's life.
  • You will be reliable, trustworthy, compassionate and respectful. 
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Available to work every other weekend is a must.
  • Driving Licence is necessary to work surrounding areas.
