Care Assistant

Location(S): Middlesbrough

Pay Rate: £12.19

Shifts available: Monday – Sunday waking nights – 13 hours and Saturday dayshift 8am – 7pm

Lovely gentleman who requires support to lead a normal life alongside his wife and two children. He is originally from the Philippines and loves traditional Pilipino foods and recipes which he would enjoy you to help him cook. He continues to work and when not at work he enjoys spending time with his children and social gatherings with his wife and friends. He is a good communicator and enjoys a good chat

Do you live in Middlesbrough or have transport to the Middlesbrough area to support a gentleman with complex needs? Are you reliable, professional and kind, if so we would like for you to join our team to support this gentleman who lives at home with his wife and two children.

Due to his medical condition he requires support with mobilisation and hoisting, medication administration and ventilation.

The package is Monday – Sunday waking nights and Saturday day shift 8am – 7pm

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

What you’ll need

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion, and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.
