Home Instead Tyne Valley are rapidly growing with full time and part time hours available. We are looking for a caring person to support clients in and around Hexham area.

We’re looking for Care Professionals who are caring, compassionate and reliable. As a Care Professional you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help clients keep their independent within their own home.

Job Description

Care Professional Benefits:

  • Excellent pay rates - from £13.00 per hour, plus enhanced bank holiday rates
  • Full time and part time hours available - Whether you prefer a couple of hours per week in the evening, weekend or if you are looking for full time, we can accommodate your availability.
  • Minimum 1 hour calls – We are different from other care companies and organisations by spending a minimum of 1 hour per client visits to ensure they receive the best possible care.
  • Refer a friend scheme: If you refer a friend to work with us, you'll receive a bonus if they stay within the role for 3months +
  • Mileage and travel time - Up to 45p per mile

Care Professional responsibilities:

Being a Carer is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent

Qualifications

  • A genuine empath, patient, and kind-hearted individual
  • Comfortable offering personal care, dispelling stigmas, and promoting independence
  • Happy to work every other weekend and use your vehicle for work
  • No prior experience required. We just ask for a compassionate heart and a commitment to making a positive difference.
