Location: Billingham
Pay Rate: £12.50 - £12.75
Shifts available: Sunday – Friday night shifts 10pm – 8am / Monday to Friday day shift 8am – 5pm
Friendly young man who requires support at home and within the community. He likes playing on his IPad and watching videos on YouTube, he enjoys going to theme parks with his family and loves roller coasters. He also enjoys going out for walks which makes him feel happy and he loves a good chat.
Do you live in Billingham or have transport to the Billingham area to support a young man with complex needs? Are you reliable, professional and kind, if so we would like for you to join our team to support him within the family home which he shares with mum, dad, brother and sister and a lovely pet dog.
Due to his medical condition he requires full support and monitoring, your duties will include management of seizures, Peg feeding, medication administration, support with breathing including oxygen and ventilation, personal care and support with mobilisation. This lively young man can communicate well using a few words at a time and through body language and facial expressions
The package is Sunday – Monday waking nights 10pm – 8am and Monday – Friday days 8am – 5pm

What you’ll do
Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
What you’ll need
Experience dealing with Peg Feeding, Autism, Epilepsy and Seizure Management.
You’ll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
