Care Assistant responsibilities:

  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent. 

Where are we?

We cover a wide area along the Tyne Valley, either side of the River Tyne. Villages include, Hexham, Corbridge, Riding Mill, Newton, Stocksfield, Prudhoe, Ovingham, Crawcrook, Ryton, Heddon on the wall and Whickham, and many other surrounding areas.

Qualifications

As we recruit on values and nature, we do not require any specific qualifications, however if you have any relevant experience whether this be personal or professional, we would love to hear about it!

Additional Information

You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle, or you must have reliable transport links to get to clients homes.
