Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:



Are you a positive and motivated person who is experienced in supporting individuals within their own homes?

At our Thurso service, we support a gentleman to live as independently as possible in his own home and are looking for bank Support Workers to join his team.



In this team, you’ll support this gentlemen to live the best life possible by supporting him to go swimming, go to the gym, visit the cinema, enjoy a wee dance and go on holiday, among his many other hobbies and interests.



In this role, you can also expect to provide support with:



Medication administration

Cooking and home maintenance

Personal care

Finance management




Our shifts are from 8.30am to 8.30am the next day, with a sleepover in between.  This is a preference of the individual we support so the successful candidate must be available to work this shift pattern.

 

We provide support 7 days a week, so we're ideally looking for someone with some flexibility to work different days.

 

A UK driving license isn't mandatory but it would be a big bonus, as the person we support has a mobility vehicle.
