Expertise Homecare (North Kent) are recruiting a Care Coordinator to join our friendly and passionate team.
As a successful candidate you will:
The role of Care Coordinator requires excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), a passion for providing personalised care and strong analytical skills alongside a good knowledge of the geographical area of North Kent.
You will also need to have an in-depth understanding of our companies’ policies and procedures, the ability to motivate others and be proficient with computers. You will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and be flexible to work outside working hours to meet company requirements.
We also require that the successful candidate has a full UK driving licence and their own vehicle with valid business class insurance, tax, and MOT as part of the job role will involve carrying out care calls and attending meetings or emergency situations.
Full training will be provided, however, previous experience within domiciliary care is preferential.
Initially we will require you to work 2 days in the office (Monday and Tuesday) and 3 days in the community (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) and assist with the on call system during the week and at weekends. Once you are familiar with the customers, carers and the company policies as well has confident with completing the rotas, we would like to look at moving you into the office-based role full time.
