As a CAREGiver (Domiciliary Carer), the care you provide will enable our clients to remain independent and safe in their own homes.
You will have a willingness to learn and full training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be friendly, reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will be comfortable spending time in the company of others. Full PPE is provided.
Our CAREGiver team come from a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience. We have full-time, part-time and weekend only carers. Many CAREGivers work their role with us around other employment or around family commitments. Some of our team are starting their career in care whereas others are semi-retired and still wish to be active in their community.
The three main aspects of our role are companionship, home help and personal care. You will be willing to provide all of these services as we do not differentiate between our clients’ needs. A few of examples of each aspect are listed below:
Companionship: Taking a client to the shops; accompanying to doctor’s appointments; going for a walk; having a chat over a coffee.
Home help: Tidying and washing up; meal preparation; feeding and looking after pets; vacuuming.
Personal Care: Helping your client in and out of bed; changing their clothes; helping them use the toilet; assisting with showering, bathing or pad changes.
