Calderdale Retreat are looking for a passionate Home Manager for our lovely Residential Home.
We are looking for a very experienced Manager who has proven experience in supporting a home to improve their ratings and service. They will assist with all aspects of the home management and participate fully in compiling evidence of all audits and regular checks that ensure all regulations and are being adhered too, as well as leading a high quality care team with supporting our residents with day to day activities.
You will hold overall responsibility for maintaining and monitoring high quality care and promote excellent person centred care for residents, you should be committed to creating a welcoming relaxing and homely environment for residents and visitors.
You will need to establish and maintain good communication with residents, relatives, colleagues and professionals outside the home such as social services, GP Commissioning Groups and the CQC.
* 2 year plus in a Home Manager or Deputy Manager position
* Level 5 Qualification
* Understanding and knowledge of local authorities’ policies and practices
* Knowledge of CQC Standards
* Experience of writing risk assessments and care plans
* Experience in staff management
* Computer literate
