We are looking for people with kind and compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our senior clients. Do you think you have what it takes to join our team in the Knaphill, Woking, Guildford and Byfleet area of Surrey? As a CAREGiver (Domiciliary Carer), the care you provide will enable our clients to remain independent and safe in their own homes.
You will have a willingness to learn and full training will be provided to the successful applicant. It would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people, this could be personal experience of caring for a family member or within a voluntary role.
You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and will be comfortable spending time in the company of others. Full PPE is provided.
The three main aspects of our role are companionship, home help and personal care. You will be willing to provide all of these services as we do not differentiate between our clients’ needs. A few of examples of each aspect are listed below:
Companionship: Taking a client to the shops; accompanying to doctor’s appointments; going to the garden centre; having a chat over a coffee.
Home help: Tidying and washing up; meal preparation; feeding and looking after pets; vacuuming.
Personal Care: Helping your client in and out of bed; changing their clothes; helping them use the toilet; assisting with showering, bathing or pad changes.
