Applicants should be honest, trustworthy and reliable team-players with a proactive approach to person-centred care and previous, recent experience in a similar role. Outstanding communication skills are essential, as are natural leadership skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
Candidates must also have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be of a kind and caring nature, with a passion for helping others and making a difference to people lives. Previous experience of working within dementia care is also highly desirable.
