Purple Social Care are looking for enthusiastic, genuine and reliable Support Workers to join the team!
You will be responsible for providing support in all aspects of living, including personal care, medication, mobility/transfers, shopping, food preparation, companionship, laundry, light house work and outings.
This role will offer you the opportunity to help some of the most vulnerable people in our community and to make a significant difference to the quality of their lives.
Flexible working - hours include mornings, evenings, sleepovers and waking nights.
Range of locations - We have support shifts in Edinburgh with clients all around the surrounding areas.
Full training, mentoring and support.
Further opportunities of career development through additional training and qualifications like SVQ's.
Experience of working with adults with learning disability and assisting them in their daily routines and personal care will be considered an asset.
Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care required or the willingness to achieve this.
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
You will be a positive individual with excellent interpersonal and observational skills.
You will be able to work independently.
