Job Description

As a CAREGiver (domiciliary carer), you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help keep clients independent in their own home. This could include but is not limited to tasks such as:

Companionship- taking clients out for walks, meals out, GP appointments 

Home help - light housework, preparing meals, running errands, light gardening 

Personal and dementia care - full training is provided, but this could include assisting with bathing, washing hair or assisting your client to get dressed

Qualifications

You do not need any experience or qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be voluntary experience or caring for a family member. 

What we are looking for in a potential CAREGiver

• You will live in, or near, the Guildford and Woking area of Surrey
• You have an empathetic and caring nature, with the ability to build a good rapport with your clients 
• You have availability of at least 14 hours per week including a minimum of 4 hours every weekend or 8 hours on alternate weekends
• You are a driver with access to your own vehicle
• You are aged over 18
• You are willing, after training, to provide personal care for our clients when required
