Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist ? Male Low Secure Personality Disorder Location in East Midlands Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist The company is the UK?s largest provider of specialist services in education, mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities, is looking for a dedicated, caring individual to join the company as a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. They offer excellent training and career progression opportunities as well as a variety of staff benefits. This is a service for up to 40 men (Aged 18+) within a Low Secure Service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, across two discrete clinical areas. Job Role We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The team consists of full time professionals including experienced nurses, occupational therapists and psychologists, who work collaboratively in the delivery of an interpersonal model within a specialist personality disorder service. The post holder will supervise a specialty doctor who will offer day to day medical psychiatric cover for the patient population. They provide full induction training. You will also learn from some of the most dedicated and inspirational people in our profession and just like thier service users you will be learning all the time through our on-going mentoring and support. Requirements: - Certificate of completion of Specialist Training - MRCPsych - Approved Clinician status - Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in busy environment - Able to evidence good multi-disciplinary team working - Evidence of development of special interest In return we offer: - Study leave - CPD program, including regular CPD meetings You will be encouraged to contribute to, and influence the development of the active care model.
