Our service users do have learning disabilities, mental health and can show challenging behaviour in their homes, and prompt maintenance is required to ensure the safety of our service users and staff.

The role we have is subject to an enhanced DBS check, as the candidate will be working with vulnerable young adults and children on our premises.

Your duties:

• Maintain a professional approach at all times with service users and staff;
• Always have a smile and bring along a can-do attitude;
• Providing repair and maintenance checks around the properties we have, including bannister, window, door, garden, drainage, and paintwork;
• Be flexible and responsible;
• Have an eager eye for detail and we always appreciate creativity;
• A proactive approach and the ability to think and act on own initiative with minimal supervision;
• A full clean driver’s licence, as this role will involve travelling between homes;
• Basic plumbing, electrical and paintwork skills.

Pay rate- £13.00 per hour, 16 hours per week.
