We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to join a wonderful home for younger-to-middle-aged adults with autism and complex needs in St Fagans.
About the job:
The service uses a wide range of approaches to their care and support, including TEACCH, sensory integration, Makaton, PECS and Positive Behavioural Support.
You will be working as part of a skilled, dedicated and compassionate staff team to help service users build skills for greater independence.
Your role will include:
* Supporting service users with daily routines, including personal care and managing challenging behaviours
* Supporting service users to access services and facilities in the community
* Helping service users develop independent living skills
Working hours:
Shifts are lomg days, working days and/or nights (7.45am-8pm or 8pm-7.45am)
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Full-time Support Workers will work 14 shifts per month and part-time Support Workers will work 2 shifts per week (both including 2 in 4 weekends).
Salary & Benefits:
Salary is £20,271 per annum (pro rata for part-time at £10.10 per hour), with benefits including:
* Opportunities for overtime bonuses (£100 per month, plus additional 6 month bonuses)

Experience in the care sector is desirable, but life experience is also very much welcomed. We are looking for people with:
