The AICS Group is seeking a strong male Support Worker to work with a vulnerable male in Hackney Stoke Newington. You will be working in a busy varied environment with a range of Health and Social Care Professionals.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Client: Male client diagnosed with left frontal glioma, with a range of cognitive challenges. The client smoked cannabis as a coping mechanism for his Brain Injury. He is unaware of social boundaries, therefore very vulnerable, especially in community settings.
We are looking for a Male Support Worker who can work:
3-4 days in a week including weekends
Shift patterns are as below:
Monday to Thursday:
10 am to 4 pm and 4 pm to 10 pm
11 am to 5 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm
Minimum 1 year in Health and Social Care, preferably with adults or children with Brain Injury. Good verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with Care Professionals. An understanding of Cognitive and Physical challenges, demonstrating an ability to implement activities that promote independence.
Current and clean driver's license. Experience in providing care to people living in the community
