About you You’ll be an experienced HR professional with CIPD qualification to level seven and experience of managing relevant compliance within a patient transport service. You will also be a strong communicator with advanced problem-solving skills. Equally important is a caring attitude towards colleagues, clients and service users, with an ability to show empathy and respect, remaining calm and professional at all times and prioritising multiple tasks regularly. Education to degree level is desirable but not essential, as is demonstrated experience in developing line managers and guiding them through change. About the opportunity As the HR Manager, you’ll report directly to the Head of Business and play a key role in ensuring the business adheres to all HR and employment requirements, managing complex employee relations cases, disciplinaries, employee grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. You’ll also be expected to develop the organisation’s HR policy and procedures to drive performance, implement learning and development policies, work on reward strategy and advise on the recruitment and retention of employees while playing an active role in the recruitment process, from creating job descriptions to conducting interviews and overseeing the onboarding of new colleagues.
