We are looking for Live in carers to help empower and assist our clients to be independent in their own home surroundings. Now more than ever clients, families/ friends want their loved ones to be safe, this means that families/ friends are looking for their loved ones to stay at home.
You will be required to live in to ensure that you are there to assist in their day to day needs whilst promoting their independence. This could range from prompting/ assisting to more complexed needs. You will also be responsible to actively liaise with clients family/ friends.
For our carers, live-in care means that they only work in one household, looking after one client or at times a couple. What is good is that our carers are, in effect, isolating themselves with their clients for the duration of their rotas, thereby minimising their exposure to COVID-19
Your duties will include :
Assistance in personal care needs, cooking, cleaning and ensuring the smooth running of the house. Accompanying clients on trips out and any appointments and companionship.
Car drivers are preferred but not essential
Two hour respite for live in carers a day, this will be covered by a community carer within the company
Live in care will be on a alternate rota ie, one/week on - one/ two off
We will give in depth training and opportunity to meet and greet prospective clients before care is started .
Mentoring support will be given to ensure that you feel supported 24/7
30 per mile mileage paid
After three month probationary period, carers are entitled to a monthly discretionary bonus.

We provide care for continuing healthcare and KCC and work with several multi disciplinary teams to ensure that all aspects of our clients well being and health are met effectively and safely.
