Home Instead Aylesbury Vale

Welcome to Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire. We cover all areas in and around Thame and Aylesbury Vale.

I am Lee Harrington and I have lived in Aylesbury with my young family for some time now and have a good knowledge of the area and the various communities within it. My team are passionate about delivering exceptional support for all clients and their families.  Jointly, we believe a local business with a friendly face and community knowledge lends itself to understanding and to aid in delivering local high quality care at home.  I fully believe that with the right combination of relationship led companionship, support, care, dignity, empathy and real understanding, the quality of anyone’s life can be dramatically improved.

My team and I are delighted to be able to provide non-medical care such as companionship, home help, personal care, meal preparation, local transportation, post-hospital care and medication reminders.  We also specialise in Dementia and Alzheimer's care, with accredited and in depth training in this area. Delivering the right care, focused on quality for each of our clients is very important to us.  We recognise that our work has a wide spread positive impact, by assisting our clients with a helping hand in maintaining and enhancing the quality of their lives and giving peace of mind and great reassurance to their families.

All the support we provide is bespoke and truly person-centred care, to enable individuals to stay and live in the comfort, security and familiarity of their own home. My promise to you is that we will do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to. I am confident you will find the service we provide second to none as I am passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction. That means, the same CAREGiver will come to visit you on the right day and the right time to carry out the service we have agreed with you.  I know this is incredibly important to all our clients and their families. I constantly strive to ensure the level of care provided to each and every client is at the level I would expect for my own loved ones.

Our CAREGivers are carefully selected for their compassion and empathy and share the Home Instead ethos. Our Care Giver are therefore able to provide high quality care to anyone over the age of 18 who needs our support.  Whether they have a Learning Disability, a form of Dementia, a personal care need or just need a Companion, our CAREGivers have had high quality training to fulfil the needs of our Clients. All of our CAREGivers go through a rigorous recruitment process where we ask for four full references and conduct a full DBS Background Check to ensure that our clients are in safe and capable hands. We are 100% certain that our CAREGivers are both dependable and capable in providing care that you or your loved ones need. Our Clients love the time they spend with their CAREGivers, due to our Matching Process a truly organic friendship can develop between them. We personally introduce the Clients to their CAREGivers so they can get to know one another before care even starts, this way we can see if both the Client and CAREGivers will be happy in the same environment.

So, why are we different?

  • We turn up on time - every time
  • We send the same person as much as possible and we would never send a stranger
  • We do not provide 'care' in fifteen minute or half an hour slots - with us it's a minimum of an hour, the CAREGiver can then establish a positive and beneficial relationship with the client
  • Our staff are ALL fully Criminal Records Bureau checked and have to provide us with SIX references. In addition to this, we only employ people who we would allow to look after our own family members.
  • Our CAREGivers do not wear uniforms and so to everyone else, they just look like family or friends who are visiting or are out with clients
  • We are very proud of our growing local reputation for providing an excellent service and will never compromise our standards
  • We provide a wide variety of care and have specialist training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care & support.  We also provide free Family & Friends Training sessions for those caring for a loved one suffering from dementia

If you still have questions about what we can do for you or any issues around age concern, don’t hesitate to get in touch, I’ll do everything I can to give you peace of mind. My team and I aim to provide the support needed for your loved ones to retain their independence and remain in their own home for as long as possible, with you and your family being assured that choice, safety and well-being are of the utmost importance to Home Instead. Whether you are enquiring about services for yourself, a family member or a friend we are always happy to help.
